Headquarters of the Caisse Primaire d'Assurance Maladie (CPAM), Ilot Poste Weiss
Bold yet soft – discover the red of “Poste Weiss”
In our report, the red colour of the “Poste Weiss” building complex is the emblem of this new, bold and dynamic business district.
One of the buildings is the headquarters of the CPAM (Caisse Primaire d'Assurance Maladie, the national health insurance administration) of the Loire region, located opposite the train station of Chateaucreux in Saint Etienne, a small city in the Southeast of France.
Designed and built by architects Emmanuel Combarel and Dominique Marrec (ECDM), the red aluminum façade is inspired by the bricks embedded in the station's gable.
Beyond its architectural quality and strong identity, the complex fits perfectly into the beautiful landscape of Saint-Etienne and opens the view towards one of the 7 hills of the city.
We are pleased that our Lamisol external venetian blinds help to protect the residents from the heat caused by excessive sunlight while preserving their exceptional view.
Due to their versatile use, our Lamisol external venetian blinds are the most popular product of our external venetian blinds range. Robust and with clear lines, they allow an optimal regulation of natural light and silent closing.
The Lamisol® III 90 is also suitable use in upper floor as its wind resistance is 92km/h up to 2500 mm.
